INVITATION FOR TENDERS: Energy Efficiency improvement in Kindergarten Nr. 2 located in Causeni City
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published in the Procurement Notices section of NEFCO’s website (https://www.nefco.int) on 22.08.2023.
City of Causeni hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”, intends to use part of the proceeds of financing from the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) towards the cost of Energy Efficiency improvement in Kindergarten Nr. 2 located in Causeni City.
The Employer now invites sealed tenders from Contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the financing:
Supply and installation of equipment and materials for rehabilitation works on the kindergarten building (Nr. 2) located in Causeni City, namely:
- Thermal insulation of building envelope with mineral wool;
- Replacement and thermal insulation of the roof with mineral wool;
- Thermal insulation of basement soffit with extruded polystyrene;
- Other related works.
Tendering for contracts that are to be financed with the proceeds of NEFCO financing is open to firms/individuals from any country. Tenders are invited for the complete scope of works; tenders for a part of works will be rejected.
To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the minimum qualification criteria, as defined in the Tender Document.
In preparation of their offers, the Tenderers should take into account that the works in this contract will tentatively start in January 2024 and will last until July 2024.
Upon receiving the written request from prospective Tenderer, the documents will be promptly dispatched electronically in PDF, Excel and MS Word format, however, no liability can be accepted for their non-delivery or late delivery. In case of discrepancies between the PDF and Excel/Word versions of the document, the PDF version shall prevail.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in the form of tender-securing declaration, which form is provided in the Tender Document. The purpose of tender security is to ensure that the tenderers are serious about their participation, irrespective of the contract size.
The winning tenderer will have to provide performance security from a reputable bank acceptable to NEFCO.
Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address: Causeni Town Hall, str. Mester Radu 3, Causeni City, Republic of Moldova, on or before 17 November 2023 at 15:00 (Chisinau time), at which time they will be opened in the presence of those tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.
