Energy Efficiency in Feștelița – “Reconstruction of the street lighting system”
The implemented #streetlighting modernization project in the village of Feștelița, in the south-eastern part of Moldova, is the first Nefco-financed project in the country. The installed #energyefficiency measures will result in 52% or 50,000 kWh annual electricity reductions and 63% or 30,000 kg annual CO2 emission reductions.
The Nefco Energy Savings Credit loan program, launched in Moldova in 2019, offers small-scale financing to implement energy-efficiency measures in connection with the modernization of street lighting and refurbishment of public buildings, such as day-care centers, schools and hospitals.
